The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Hebrews 10:23: “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He Who promised is faithful.” The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God! The gospel writer wanted to assure the early Christians, the disciples of Jesus, that their hope was well-placed, and their inheritance was assured in the heavenly sphere. Over and over, Christians are given the promise that God will never leave them nor forsake them. Their future is secured for all eternity. And that assurance comes only through the gift of salvation, but we must first accept it and claim it to make it our own. If you have not, turn your life over to Jesus now. There is no more convenient day. Amen!
Let’s not forget to serve the Lord with gladness and enter His courts with praise.
