As summer begins to wind down means the early morning bells of welcoming children back to school is around the corner.
Simpson County School District hosted an orientation for new teachers and staff Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the Magee Elementary School.
Several changes, positions, and new faces have taken place this year within the district. All new employees were welcomed and thanked for choosing Simpson County Schools.
Dr. Sanders welcomed everyone to the meeting.
New Superintendent Dr. Toriano Holloway welcomed everyone and introduced board members, principals, and county office employees and leadership teams.
Dr. Holloway encouraged each in attendance to start every day with the attitude; I can, I will, and I shall.
The new employees will become familiar with the day to day operations of the district, and hear from the leadership team on what is expected and how to go about daily procedures.
School will begin for teachers in in Simpson County School District Monday, July 26, 2021 and students Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
