New staff, endorsements, recommendations and coaching supplements approved by Simpson County School Board.
Yolonda Jenkins was reassigned from Magee Middle to Magee Elementary replacing Ashlie Fox. Effective 08/01/2017 – 05/29/2018. Sarena Mitchell was hired as a Special Education Teacher, replacing Chassity corker, at Magee High School. Heather Stroud was employed as a Language Arts Teacher replacing Yolanda Jenkins at Magee Middle School. Tobias Hatch was hired as a Social Studies Teacher, replacing Mitchell Sutherland at Mendenhall High School. Derrick Jenkins was hired as a Special Education Teacher replacing Monroe Allen at Mendenhall high School. Rodgers Rahim was hired as a Social Studies Teacher replacing Robert Russum at Mendenhall High School. Derricka Thomas was re-employed as the district wide Interventionist. Rebecca Bridges was employed replacing Shelia White and Magee Elementary. Tina Benton was employed as a School Nurse at Magee Elementary. John James was employed as a bus driver replacing Mitchell Sutherland, Israel Drummond was employed as a bus driver replacing Lakeisha Young, Hayden Holdbrook was hired as a bus driver replacing James, and Amanda Welch was hired as a bus driver all for Mendenhall High School.
