Ryan Lambert of Brookhaven, Swayze Orders of Mendenhall, and Corey Johnson of Brookhaven (seated, from left) are recipients of the Silver Cross Home Foundation Annual Scholarship presented by the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. The scholarship was established in 2016 in an effort to give back to the community and is designated to benefit students enrolled in a healthcare or education program from Lincoln, Lawrence, Copiah or Franklin counties. On hand for the presentation were Co-Lin Foundation Board member Larry Greer (left) and Silver Cross Foundation board chairman Sarah Foster. Scholarship donors and recipients were honored at the Co-Lin Foundation 15th annual scholarship reception held at The Thames Center on the Wesson Campus. The Co-Lin Foundation provides almost $200,000 in scholarships to over 150 Co-Lin students.
