SCA’s Madison and McKenzie Shows Win Tennis State Championship!

SCA competed in the MAIS State Tennis Tournament this week, where seniors Madison and McKenzie Shows claimed the #1 Girls Doubles MAIS AAAA DII State Championship!

 

The tournament was played on Wednesday and Thursday, April 25-26 at the Ridgeland Tennis Center. Madison and McKenzie played Wednesday in the quarter-finals against Copiah Academy and won 6-0 6-0 to advance to the Semi-finals against Washington and won 6-1 6-0. The girls faced Pillow Academy Thursday morning at 9 AM for the title and won 6-1, 7-6 with a 7-4 tiebreaker.
