Santa came early for the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department.
A new brush fire truck was delivered Friday, December 20, 2019.
Several were on hand to witness the new truck.
Supervisors Danny Craft – District 2, Brian Kennedy – District 3, Randy Moore – District 5, along with County Administrator Rhuel Dickerson, members of Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department, County Fire Coordinator Charlie Valadie and others witness the vehicles for the first time.
Fire Chief Nathan Chain, of the Harrisville Fire Department received the keys from Donnie Weeks, Sales Rep from Bonaventure Fire Equipment Sales. Bonaventure is an authorized dealer for Rosenbauer Fire Apparatus.
This is the second fire truck to purchased in Simpson County within the last month. Magee received a new fire engine a couple of week earlier. Mendenhall is schedule to receive an engine similar to Magee’s in the coming weeks.
