Sandra Cook passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.
Mrs. Cook was born on April 3, 1947, to Grover and Willis Mae (Ashley) Walker of Magee, MS, and was the youngest of four children. Her siblings are Peggy Prince (the late Benny) and Herman Walker (Ann) and the late Paul Walker (the late Joyce) of Magee.
She graduated from Magee High School. She met and married her husband Kenneth Gene Cook in 1967. Mrs. Cook lived in Jackson for many years where she was a long-time member of Parkway Baptist Church in Clinton, MS. She worked for many years at DGB and FNB (Trustmark) Bank in Jackson, MS.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband, Kenneth Gene Cook, daughter, Wendy Cook Yoakum and granddaughter, Presley Lynn Yoakum of Florence, MS and her loving family and friends.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
