Mendenhall- District Attorney Daniel C. Jones announced that on Monday, January 5, 2015, Donna Robinson of Mendenhall, MS, accepted the position of Victim Assistance Coordinator for the Office of the District Attorney.
DA Jones said “Donna has been with [his] office for over a year and a half, but she recently moved over to the position of Victim Assistance Coordinator.” Jones stated that “Donna loves God and has a heart of a public servant.” He further added that during a recent trial in Collins “she sat with the murdered victim’s family throughout the two day trial and tended to each of their needs. Donna has a genuine love for people in her heart and that is why she is now the Victim Assistance Coordinator.” DA Jones confirmed that “[he] expected every person that works for [him] to think of their needs less and put the people of this district first and foremost when it comes to serving them.”
Donna said “[she] is very excited about the opportunity to work in this capacity and looks forward to helping more people.”
DA Jones further added that “[he] really wants to get the message across that we are putting the people of this district first. We are public servants and nothing more.”
Daniel C. Jones represents the 13th Circuit Court District which includes Covington, Jasper, Simpson, and Smith counties.
