Robert Vernon Boykin, 75 of Magee, MS passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at the MS Care Center of Raleigh. He was born on Friday, September 2, 1949, in Jones County, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 9:00 am until the service at 11:00 am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, 302 Eighth Ave SW, Magee, MS. Burial will follow in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Magee, MS. Bro. John Barnes and Bro. David McCord will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was preceded in death by his father, Jason Singelton Boykin; his Mother, Audrey Craven Boykin.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Sellers Boykin; sons, Brandon Boykin (Karen) and David Husband (Tara); daughters, Jennifer Edwards and Trisha Harvey (Michael); 7 Grandchildren; brothers, Mark Boykin (Melinda) and Jason Boykin (Bobbie); sister, Joyce Kirk (Ken); and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

Special music will be performed by Valerie McCord
