Robert Larry Boone

June 27, 1949- February 17, 2023

   Robert Larry Boone, 73 of White Oak, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at his home in White Oak. He was born Monday, June 27, 1949 in Raleigh, Mississippi.

  Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 1:30 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Puckett Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Puckett Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Puckett Cemetery. Bro. Mickey Ferguson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Tressie Boone; brother, Mike Boone; sisters, Becky Pickering and Judy Purser Dillon.

  Survivors include his wife, Nan Boone;  son, Jerome Boone  (Erica);  daughter, Gwynn  James  (Art);  seven grandchildren, Alyssa  James  Hammons, Crystal  Boone  Cook, Garrett  Boone, Shelby  James, John  Houston  Boone, Rilee  Nan  James and Luke  Boone.

   Pallbearers will be Steve Boone, Wilson Purser, Jeff Smith, Jamie Smith, Bart Hutson, and Brock Hutson.

  Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Zea and Brad Boone.
