Governor Tate Reeves has selected Robbie Barnes, CEO of PriorityOne Bank, to serve on the Governor’s Commission for Economic Recovery, also called Restart Mississippi.
Robbie will serve as one of the 17 members of the task force headed by Joe Sanderson, CEO of Sanderson Farms. Robbie will represent banking and investment firms.
The task force will not be authorized to spend any federal funds.
“We need Mississippians helping Mississippians,” stated Reeves. “Under the Restart Mississippi umbrella they are going to develop a series of recommendations and goals for our new economy,” the Governor explained.
