Regan Ishee Accepted to MSMS

Simpson County Sophomore, Reagan Ishee, has been accepted to join the Class of 2022 at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science (MSMS) in Columbus, beginning the fall of 2020.

Reagan is the daughter of Shey and Allison Winstead of Mendenhall and Jason and Sarah Ishee of Tryon, NC.

She is the granddaughter of Allen and Jerry Floyd and JK and Linda Winstead of Mendenhall, and Tony and Patti Ishee of Stringer.

MSMS is ranked as the #6 Best High School in the U.S., according to Business Insider, and teachers at MSMS currently rank #1 in the country.

Reagan attended Simpson County Academy for 8 years and recently completed her 9th and 10th grade studies as a homeschooled student. She is an active member of Episcopal Youth activities in and around the state, has participated in creative writing workshops at MS School of the Arts, Millsaps College, and the R.E. Blackwell Memorial Library in Collins. Additionally, Reagan has been a volunteer for Camp Kandu at Twin Lakes, as well as the Mendenhall Public Library.

Following graduation, Reagan is interested in pursuing a degree in law/criminal justice.
