Randy Hays, Braxton, MS
Randy Hays, 59, passed from this life on July 6, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Randy was born on July 13, 1956 to Fordie and Rachel (Busby) Hays. He was wed to Martha (Mixson) Hays for forty one years. Together they had two daughters, Cassidy Hays-Rankin and Brandy (Jeffery) Hickman.
Randy had many callings in his 59 years of life. He was a United States Marine, Mason, Fireman and Salesman. He was diligent in all of these things and they brought him great joy.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Fordie and Rachel; his twin sister, Sammye (Hays) House; brother, Colia (Red) Busby; brothers-in-law, Gary Runnels, Ellis Booth and Wallace (Skipper) House and niece Dora House.
He is survived by his wife, Martha (Mixson) Hays; daughters, Cassidy Hays-Rankin and Brandy Hickman; brothers, Robin Wade (Sandra) Hays and Michael Keith Hays; sisters, Cynthia Jane Runnels and Rebecca Anne Booth; sister-in-law, Monica Busby; Grandsons, Ryker Hays, Samuel Rankin, Wyatt Hickman and Dixon Hickman; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many cherished friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016, with one hour of visitation prior to the service, at Calvary Baptist Church in Braxton, MS. Interment will follow in the Braxton City Cemetery.
