Rachel R. Allen, 81, of Mize, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at her home in Mize.

Born Saturday, September 30, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Andrew McKissack and the late Stella Riley McKissack. She was the wife of the late Robert Lee Allen.

She was employed by Smith County Schools and was a member of Mize First Baptist Church.

Surviving are son, Larry Allen (MeLissa) of Mize , MS, daughters, Bobbie Martin of Mize, MS, Pansy Little (Allen) of Mize, MS, Doris Welborn of Mize, MS and Tammy Matthews (Wayne) of Raleigh, MS. grandchildren, Allen Martin (Denise) , Hope Westbrook (Tracy), Lee Martin (Jessica), Chad Little (Paula), Lance Little (Katie), Gabriel Welborn (Christy), Jacob Welborn ( Melissa), Nathaniel Welborn (Angel), Andrew Allen, Ryne-Justice Allen, Christopher Matthews (Krysti), Brittnee Matthews, John Matthews, and Alexandra Matthew and William Fred Martin, and great-grandchildren, Colby Welborn

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers, Thomas McKissack, Charles McKissack and Gene McKissack and one sister, Doris McKissack.

A Funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Mize First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Raleigh.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 27, 2015, at Mize First Baptist Church.
