Kenneth Aasand, manager of the Copiah County Airport and contract employee for the City of Magee airport, came before the board with a compliant concerning a situation he encountered while working at the airport. Mr. Aasand was attacked by two dogs on airport property. For 8-10 minutes Mr. Aasand tried to get away from the dogs. Finally, someone on duty at the airport became aware of the situation and called the dogs off Mr. Aasand.
Aasand sent a letter to Mayor Berry concerning the incident. He asked the board if they were aware of the situation and if anything had been done. A copy of the letter was given to City Attorney Bruce Smith.
Mr. Aasand mentioned a problem with the inspection of one of the airplanes at the airport.
