The City of Magee Police department received two new Explorers Friday, December 11, 2020.
Mayor Dale Berry passed the keys to Assistant Chief Chris Jones. Officer Jones, Officer Sean Cooper and Officer provided a demonstration of the new vehicles. The vehicles come equipped with recorded messages that will alarm the vehicle being stopped to stay in vehicle, let window down, etc. (A video is attached with the demonstration).
These vehicles have great safety points for the officer and pedestrian.
