Phillip Boone, age 75, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, at his home in Magee, MS. He was born May 14, 1946, to Thomas Jefferson Boone and Wisie Grace (Purvis) Boone.
Phillip was a good Christian man who loved listening to Bro. David Jeremiah every day. He was an active member of Rock Bluff Baptist Church. He was a kind and caring person. He will be missed by his loving family and all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Cooper; brothers, Jeff Boone and Steve Boone.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Wisie Boone; paternal grandparents, John Houston Boone and Margaret Caroline (Warren) Boone; maternal grandparents, Grover Isham Purvis and Lula (Hutson) Purvis.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Rock Bluff Baptist Church in Morton, MS from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The service will be at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Donnie Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
