MAGEE –Dennis Ammann, President and Chief Executive Officer at Peoples Bank, today announced the promotions of six officers within the bank.
Ammann said that Ginger Kirkley, Mike Long and Jason Smith were all named Vice Presidents while Stella Swain, Becky Sullivan and Jake Brown were promoted to Assistant Vice Presidents.
She is a 2006 graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking, conducted at LSU, and a 2013 graduate of the Southeastern School of Consumer Lending. Ms. Kirkley is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce. While at the Mississippi School of Banking, she was one of the winning team members for BankExec, a simulation for the best managed and positioned bank.
Ms. Kirkley and her husband, David, have two children and one grandson.
He has been in banking since 1993 and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Mississippi State University in 1986. In 2001, he completed studies at the Mississippi Graduate School of Banking, conducted at Ole Miss. He was the 2015 Peoples Bank Promise Award winner and the 2016 Peoples Bank WOW Award winner.
He and his wife, Kim, have two children and one granddaughter.
Smith is active as Vice President of the Simpson County Jr. Livestock Association. He and his wife, Kim, have two children.
She and her husband Jon, have three children.
During her tenure at the bank, she has worked in the Loan Department, as an Assistant to bank President Dennis Ammann, served as a backup loan committee secretary, and as the Board Secretary. In 2020, she was named Branch Manager and Loan Officer in Richland before returning to Magee in March, 2022.
She attended William Carey. College and will begin studies at the Mississippi Graduate School of banking this fall.
She is active in her church and serves as the Youth Director at Macedonia Baptist Church. She recently was named to the Board of Directors for the Magee Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Sullivan and her husband, Jason, have one son.
He earned his Associates degree from Jones County Junior College and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He has also completed studies at the Southeastern School of Consumer Lending.
He and his wife, Tatum, have two dogs.
