Peggy June Valentine, 77, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Magee General Hospital in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, October 25, 1942, Ellisville, Mississippi.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Tula Rosa Methodist Church Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi. The burial will follow in Tula Rosa Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Shane Singleton and Bro. Kent Grice will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Valentine was a member of Tula Rosa Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, cooking for her family, and working with her flowers. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis Hardin and Louise Myrick Hardin.
Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-five years, Carlos Valentine of Taylorsville; one son, Shane Valentine and wife, Kathy of Hattiesburg ; one daughter, Lisa Valentine (Mike Bavido) of Mize; two grandchildren, James Valentine, and Lauren Valentine both of Hattiesburg; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
