Stacy and Stanley Mangum have been special to me always and forever!  I’ve known those two all their lives!  I’ve watched these two love birds since age 14 “in love!”

Stanley passed away this weekend.  We all knew the day was coming, but no one is every ready.  How does one go on when your life has been spent with “the love of your live?”  To me, this is when our faith takes over.  This is when God gives us strength we don’t have.  This is when our friends gather around us tightly holding on as we struggle to even breath.

As you can tell, I love this family.  Their three children are very special to me.  I love Stacy…and yes I loved Stanley.  His smile…his joking…his love for others made loving him easy.  Stanley had the best (as someone said) gap-tooth smile that opened anyone’s  heart to him.

After Stacy and Stanley moved to Madison, I didn’t see as much of the family as I would have liked.  But, we never lost contact.  Their family has been by my side through every valley I’ve experienced.    We may only get to share short notes or calls to one another , but we always knew we were there for one another.

When I think about Stacy and Stanley what I see is laughter!  They always laughed…and I love laughter.  Their devotion to one another was a lesson in love to anyone.

Stanley was faithful to his family.  He loved his parents…he loved his sister…he loved all of his aunts and cousins; in other words , Stanley loved.  I will miss this smiling guy. My arms of love are wrapped around each of you and prayers will be given for you forever…Stanley made life better.
