“O for a thousand tongues to sing my great Redeemer’s praise” By James Davis

The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 32:7: “You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” The psalmist David wrote many poems and songs of praise to God for the many blessings God had bestowed upon him. David knew that His strength came from the Master, the great God I Am. What strong faith David showed, and we have historical fact to attest to David’s many great works as king. He, like all of us, however, was human, and he was not always as strong morally as he should have been. God still loved David, and from out of David’s line came Jesus, the precious Son of God. “O for a thousand tongues to sing my great Redeemer’s praise, The glories of my God and King, the triumphs of His grace.” Amen!
