National Wildlife and Turkey Federation Banquet of the Strong River Chapter was a hugh success.
The banquet was held Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the National Guard Amory.
There was standing room only. According to Sammy Tebo there were over 300 people present. This years banquet grossed over $76,000 and net over $30,000.
Mark Jeffery Hubbard, student at Simpson County Academy and son of Lyle and Sue Ann Hubbard, was the winner of a $500.00 scholarship.
A good time seemed to be had by everyone. Sammy would like to thank everyone who attended, sponsored, and helped in anyway. A special thanks to Jerry’s Fish House for catering the event.
