NO BRAG JUST FACTS
Are you boastful or proud of things you do? Our devotion today comes from Ephesians 2:9. Not of works lest any man should boast. Paul tells us do not brag about what you do for the kingdom of God. This is all some people ever do is give some money for mission work or give some money for the building committee. This is all the reward you will ever get.
The pat on the back is your earthly reward. We should lay our treasures in heaven and let God receive the glory not us. The next time we do something ask ourselves is it for God’s glory or man’s glory. When we brag let’s brag about being a child of God. Tell people about being filled with the Holy Spirit taking up our cross following Jesus and serving Him 100%.
Jesus can and will give you victory over whatever we face. As we enter this Easter season let Jesus change you from a life bound to Hell to a life bound for Heaven. Jesus can and will turn that house into a home. Jesus can save that troubled marriage or relationship.
There is power in prayer. Don’t read this devotion and remain the same. Let Jesus melt that hard heart. All of this devotion is no brag just facts.
