Woo-Hoo!!! One of my favorite foods has its own day—-Fried Chicken Day!  Every July 6th the “bird” is recognized.  Fried chicken is truly one of my favorite foods.  But, I must confess, I am no chicken fryer!  Now, I have several friends who have mastered the skill…but not me.  True confession…my mama didn’t fry chicken!  I just followed in her footsteps.

Anyone who lives in the South and of course Simpson County is usually a chicken lover.

As I was thinking about the chicken places in Magee,  my favorite fried chicken is Zip’s.  Ya’ll can eat Zip burgers all you want but give me Zip’s fried chicken.

Hats off to our own Tyson Foods!  The Magee plant participates in community and county events.

Let’s celebrate the day by eating chicken!

Enjoy!

Juicy, tender, and crispy fried chicken is celebrated on National Fried Chicken Day on July 6.

Not only do I like chicken friend, I like chicken most anyway!  Share your recipe.
