By James Davis

The Scriptural passage for today is found in John 10: 27-29: “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me, I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them our of My hand. My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.” We have the actual words Jesus delivered to His followers, His disciples, likening them to sheep who obediently follow their shepherd. We are, likewise, His sheep if we follow Jesus and have accepted His gift of salvation. We do not follow blindly, but through faith with assurance that nothing or no one can snatch us from God’s hands. Thank you, Jesus, for Your care and keeping.

Now, let’s get out there today and share the love, joy, and kindness God imparts to us. We can make a difference in the lives of others. With that in mind, let’s be up and about our Father’s business.
Happy Friday!
