The Mississippi Christmas Celebration Concert sponsored by PrioityOne Bank was a huge success! The concert was performed at the First Baptist Church of Mendenhall. Jane Griffith, Max Ponder, Brenda Jones, Delwyn Pruitt, and Jonathan Statham entertained the packed crowd. Monies donated at the concert in addition to other monies collected through fundraising events by PrioirtyOne will be given to Blair Batson Children’s Hospital.

The concert raised approximately $4,000. One of the request from Blair Batson was money for an outdoor blow-up screen…well, the hospital is going to get that and looks like even more!

CD’s from Sunday night’s concert are available for $20. (See Mert Jones at PrioirtyOne downtown Magee).

“Merry Mississippi Christmas” t shirts are for sale at all Simpson County branches of PrioirtyOne for $20. (Money goes to Blair Batson).

Mert Jones of PrioityOne expressed a special thank you to First Baptist Church of Mendenhall for the use of their church, Berry Seafood, Stephens of Mendenhall, and Darling and Distressed for providing gift cards to the performers. A special thank you to Paige Russum who produced the video played during the performance.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays by helping others!
