MageevsMen8******** I have been contacted by the school that an administrator was on duty, Coach Tim Coats.  The issue between the 9th grade and JV playing time is being addressed.

What’s up??? Is there a 9th grade team or a JV team? Several parents and players left the Magee/Mendenhall game following what fans thought was to be a 9th grade game that turned into a JV game after 4 downs… not happy! Now, why is this a big deal? JV is made up of high school players who do not start with the high school team. The 9th graders were led to believe (truth or not) that they (the 9th grade) would be on the gridiron at Trojan Field for a full game…didn’t happen.

“Talk” also concerns what are the 9th grade football players doing at the field house for the last two periods of the day…sitting and not practicing? Who’s in charge?

Word on the street was there was no administrator on duty during the 9th grade/JV game (fight broke out under bleachers). That is hard for me to believe…but that is what I was told by parents in attendance at the game.

We’ve had enough problems with Trojan football to last a lifetime…let’s don’t start again. Make the rules clear to the parents and players.

Just Saying…
