The Mize High School Marching Band competed in the 2019 2A State Marching Band Competition on Saturday, November 2. The competition was held at Pearl High School. The band performed their show, “Road Not Taken” based on the Robert Frost poem. The band is under the direction of Brittany Alexander. She is assisted by Nacole Adcock, Sophia Daniel, and Zack Everett.
The band placed in the following categories:
1st Place Visual Performance
2nd Place Music Performance
2nd Place General Effect
3rd Place Bronze Overall
