Mize Cheerleaders Place 2nd in Nation

Mize Cheerleaders have come a long way this year!

The road to Nationals started by winning the State Title in December. The team competed at the UCA Regional Competition on December the 5th at the Jackson Convention Center and received first place as well as a bid to Nationals in Orlando, Florida. The ladies then participated in the state competition Saturday, December 11th, where they won the state title.

Saturday, February 12, 2022 these ladies along with their Coach Brooke King mad history for the small town of Mize. The ladies advanced to the finals and placed 2nd in the Nation.

The cheerleaders returned home Tuesday evening to be greeted by streets lined with fans, family and friends showing their support for their accomplishment.

Members of the squad are:

Coach- Brooke King

Mascot(Bully)- Jewel Ainsworth (Freshman)

Seniors- Lani Blair, Amelia Evans ,Emma Runnels, Madison Craft, Tymber Eubanks, Lauren White

Juniors- Grace Anglin, Annalyse Layton, Delaney Smith, Niyah Turner, Trinity Amason

Sophomores- Caroline Ulmer, Emily Amason, Graci Sullivan, Molly Keyes, Saylor Sullivan

Freshman- Abby Swales, Adison King, Allisabeth Shutters, Elizabeth Keith, Jena Lowery, Kierstin Street

Eighth Grade- Olivia Evans, Bethany Amason

Countless hours of practice has paid off for the Mize Cheerleaders!  Hard work rewards in the end!
