Mississippi’s newest elected state senators gathered at the Capitol on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, for orientation to become familiar with the work they will do beginning January 2016.
Standing left to right are senators: Kevin Blackwell, R-of Southaven; Jenifer B. Branning. R-Philadelphia; Tammy Witherspoon, D-McComb; Chris Caughman, R-Mendenhall; Chad McMahan, R-Guntown, Juan Barnett, D-Heidelberg and Joseph “Mike” Seymour, R-Vancleave.
Not present were Senator Barbara Blackmon, D-Canton, and Senator Dennis Debar, R-Leakesville.
