Mississippi Farmers Market Hosts Holiday Harvest December 7
JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Farmers Market will host its Holiday Harvest event this Saturday, December 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Market will feature complimentary hot chocolate, apple cider and popcorn, as well as letters to Santa and unique vendors for holiday gift shopping. Santa Claus will be at the Market 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for photos, and the Genuine MS® Store will be offering holiday-style samples as part of an open house showcase.
“I want to invite the public to come by the Mississippi Farmers Market Saturday to enjoy a time of family and holiday-oriented festivities,” said Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson. “In addition to the usual array of farmers, artisans and entrepreneurs, shoppers will also be treated to a unique, community celebration and Christmas experience they can share with loved ones.”
The Farmers Market Café, located inside of the Mississippi Farmers Market, is open 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every weekday and 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Saturday.
