Mr. Charles R. Dampeer has been found! He was located in a wooded area near Bass Road. He is dehydrated and has some minor abrasions. He is safe! The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend its thanks to all of the other organizations, volunteers and others who helped find Mr. Dampeer.
Mr. Charlie Ray Dampeer 70 yrs old is missing from a group home in Old Pearl Community (219 Bass Road).
Mr. Dampeer was last seen between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
Dampeer was wearing a purple pull over shirt (polo) style, blue jeans and brown loafers.
Dampeer has dementia.
