Mildred Lunsford Pope, age 85, passed away at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center on Thursday, March 18, 2021. She was born on March 10, 1936, to Homer James Lunsford and Lula Bell Lunsford Morgan.
She is survived by her son, Gary Pope (Tracy); daughters, Wanda Walker, Sarah Wilson; sisters, Louise Gray (David), Carolyn Brisendine (Joe); eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Pope; sons, Jeff Pope, Ronald Pope; daughter, Betty Jo Pope; brothers, Bob Lunsford, Dan Lunsford, Harold Lunsford, J. W. Lunsford and Wesley Lunsford.
There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Braxton City Cemetery with Bro. Ted Bowlin officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
