Important Announcement
Governor Reeves has closed Mississippi’s public schools through April 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Superintendent Greg Paes has announced that students in the Simpson County School District will be provided with Learning Packets during this time.
On Tuesday, March 24 parents will be required to pick up Learning Packets for their children. These packets will contain work for 2 weeks, Report cards for the third nine weeks will also be given to parents. This is a drive through service provided at your child’s school, so parents are asked not to get out of the car. Parents may pick up the Learning Packets any time between 8:00 and 12:00. It will be required for the students to complete the work by Tuesday, April 7. On that date the completed work should be returned to the school site and new Learning Packets for April 7-17 will be distributed. Parents will receive more information from their child’s school and teachers. During this time away from school, teachers will be available by email or by phone during specific times to assist parents and students.
We miss our students and pray that everyone stays healthy.
