Lindsey Robinson has been named Mendenhall Junior High School’s Teacher of the Year.

She has an outstanding service record as an educator and has a true heart for teaching the next generation of leaders.

She holds a Major in Biology and a Minor in Education from William Carey University. Mrs. Robinson has been employed by Mendenhall Junior High since 2012.  She serves in a number of leadership capacities on campus and dedicates much of her time to bettering our teachers and students in the school.  She has presented two years in a row at the Making Connections Conference (one of the main educational conferences in the state), and has been accepted to co-present at the National Science Teacher Conference in Nashville, TN during April 2016.

Outside of school, she is actively involved in serving at South Shady Groove Church of God as keyboardist for the Church’s praise team and, with her husband Chad, helps lead the young adult’s ministry.

Mrs. Robinson believes teaching is a calling, and once the children are part of her class they become her “kids”.
