As I read the post for Memorial Day…as I listen to the songs on the radio…as I observe the programs on TV…my heart is heavy but yet proud! We truly live in the best country in the world. I am amazed at the people who have given their lives…their time…their life to serving our county so I can be free….free to walk out my front door…free to speak my mind…free to agree and disagree…what a wonderful country.
Today, I pray for the people who are actively serving our country…I pray for the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom…I pray for the survivors of war.
Thank you….The respect I have for you knows no words…the feeling is deep in my heart and soul. I really like the saying “Home of the free because of the brave”…those words speak volumes to me.
