Melvin Eugene Franklin, 87, of Raleigh, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Miss Care Center in Raleigh. He was born Thursday, May 26, 1932.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dona Franklin; daughter, Debra Hollman; mother, Lucille Franklin; four brothers and four sisters; two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Craig Franklin and Kenny Franklin; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; brother, Doyle Franklin.
