A meet and greet was held at Magee High School Tuesday, July 27, 2021 to meet the new Superintendent for Simpson County School District Dr. Toriano Holloway.

The meeting took place in the school cafeteria.

Parents were able to hear Dr. Holloway’s vision and plan and personally put a face with a name.

Dr.  Holloway shared he challenged the staff to “change their way of thinking.”  Holloway asked each one to commit to the kids! As long as we turn and stay with the mission statement – Believe, Achieve and Succeed each day this school year will be successful.

Holloway stated he encouraged each staff to start each day with I can, I shall and I will.

Two more meet and greets will be held. Thursday, July 29, 2021 a meet and greet will take place at Simpson Central starting at 6:00 p.m. and Monday, August 2, 2021 at Mendenhall High School starting at 6:00 p.m.

If you missed the first meet and greet take time to attend one of the other meetings and meet the man who is in charge of your children’s education.
