MDOT District 7 Equipment Operators Roadeo winners announced

MCCOMB, MISS. – The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) held its annual Equipment Operators Roadeo for District 7 at the district office in McComb on Thursday, March 6.

“The Roadeo is a great annual event that combines workforce development and friendly competition, allowing our operators to showcase their talents on heavy equipment and sharpen their skills,” said Commissioner Charles Busby, Southern Transportation District. “We know it is critical to invest in our employees’ skills to keep the traveling public and our workers safe. It’s also a ton of fun, and I look forward to it every year.”
