Candice McCullum, an 11th grade student at Mendenhall High School, won 5th Place in a Creative Writing competition sponsored by the Mississippi Beta Club Convention held in Biloxi, Mississippi. Candice competed with students across the state of Mississippi and earned top honors. Candice is the daughter of Felisa and Chief Alexander “Candy” McCullum.
