Max L Adcox, 84 of Mize, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015, at Regency Hospital of Jackson.
Born Thursday, July 17, 1930 in Magee, he was the son of the late Lonnie Adcox and the late Florence Adcox. He was the husband of the late Earnestine Hosey Adcox.
He was self-employed farmer, Veteran of the Korean War, and Master Mason.
He is a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He attended Coat Baptist Church and Wilkinson Memorial Baptist Church with his family.
Surviving are son; Randall Adcox (Martha) of Mize, daughters; Ann Blackwell (Reggie) of Mize, and Debbie Johnson (Billy) of Mize. Grand Children; Regina Day (Trey), Mize, Ginger Adcox , Mize, Randy Adcox, Mize, Nathaniel Johnson, Mize, Amanda Johnson, Mize, Great Grand Children ; Brianna Lingle, Mize, Alex Adcox, Mize, Bryce Lingle, Mize, Courtnie Adcox, Mize, Harrison Day, Mize, Redding Day, Mize, Dillon Sistrunk, Mize and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by brothers: Junior Adcox, Rudolph Adcox and Durwood Adcox, sister, Clemmie Wood.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home with the Bro. James Shumaker, Bro. Donnie Guy and Bro. Lonnie Wood officiating. Interment will be in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home.
