Martha Ann Ward Brown, 83, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026. She was born on July 28, 1943, in Florida to Earl Ward Sr. and Evelyn Johnson Ward.
Martha was an artist who loved painting, sketching, and quilting. In past years, she owned The Berry Patch in Prentiss, MS, where she enjoyed sharing her art with others. In later years, Martha resided in Townsend, TN, where she remained active in her community and local art groups,
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Earl Ward Jr.
Martha is survived by her three sons, Russell Brown (Debbie), Jim Brown (Mary), and Mike Brown (Maryann); five grandchildren, Marty Brown, Erica Alexander (Josh), Jainee Hope, John Eason, and Cooper Brown; and six great-grandchildren, County, Cole, Mara, Kingston, Eli, and Ezra.
