Mark Scott Failor and Candace DeAnne Meadows Failor of Magee, MS went to be with their Lord on May 28, 2022.
Scott was born to Harold J. Failor and Nancy Galza on July 23, 1963. He was a graduate of Clinton High School Class of 1981.
Scott is survived by his son, Brandon Failor (Jessica); mother, Nancy Galza (Joseph); sister, Shelley Hart (Peter); brother, Brian Failor; two grandchildren, Riley and Levi; niece, Hannah Failor and nephews, Nick Scala (Carolyn) and Josh Scala (Carolyn); great-nephews, Grady Scala, Nicholas Scala, Myles Scala, Connor Scala and great-niece Emma Scala.
Candy was born to Edwin and Cheryl Meadows on September 22, 1969. She is a graduate of Florence High School Class of 1987.
She is survived by her son, Justin Crawford; her loving parents, Edwin and Cheryl Meadows; brother, Ed Meadows (Pam); two grandchildren, Riley and Levi; niece, Naomi Mathes (Avery); nephew, Ben Meadows (Ashton); great-niece, Natalie Mathes; great-nephew, Landon Mathes along with aunts, uncles and cousins.
Scott and Candy fell in love and were wed on February 6, 1993. They enjoyed twenty-nine years of marriage living life to the fullest. They were longtime members of Goodwater Baptist Church of Magee, MS. Their passions were to serve others. They blessed many lives. They were each kind-hearted, generous, loving and a friend to many.
They loved spending time outdoors, at the beach, and most of all with family. They both were a ray of sunshine with their sweet spirits and contagious laughter. They will be greatly missed and their memories will be cherished forever.
The service will be held on June 2, 2022, at Goodwater Baptist Church in Magee, MS at 12:00 noon with visitation from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. The final resting place will be in Goodwater Cemetery with Reverend Jason Webb and Reverend Brent Barker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Goodwater Baptist Church, c/o the Scott and Candy Failor Fund, 1313 Goodwater Road NW, Magee, MS 39111.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
