The Mendenhall High School 2014-2015 Teacher of the Year is Mark Hudson.
Mr. Hudson has been a teacher for 23 years. He resides in Ridgeland with his wife, Diana. He has two children, David and Suzanne.
He attended Fullerton Community College in California, Southwest Texas State University in Texas, and earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Delta State University in Mississippi.
He is a member of Mississippi Bandmasters Association, Alumni member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Professional Music Fraternity, Past President of Capital District Band Directors Association, and he plays the trumpet professionally throughout the southeast.
