The Mississippi Agriculture & Livestock Theft Bureau (MALTB), along with the Richland and Florence Police Departments, is requesting information on the whereabouts of two suspects in an ongoing criminal investigation of Burglary-Commercial, Grand Larceny and Theft of Property-Tack Equipment. During the last 30 days, the Richland and Florence Police Departments have taken numerous reports of mini storage units being burglarized in Rankin County. The MALTB became involved in the investigation when eight custom-made saddles were stolen from one of the storage units. A suspect has been identified as Charles Anthony Birdno II, a white male. Birdno may be in company with his girlfriend Leigh Anne Huff, a white female, who is also a wanted person. If you have seen Birdno or Huff pictured below please contact your local law enforcement agency, crime stoppers or the MALTB tip line.
