Magee is proud to announce our 2019 Miss Hospitality, Ashlyn Johnston.  Ashlyn was crowned on March 26th by Carley May, Magee’s 2018 Miss Hospitality.  First alternate was Kadin Adcox.

 

Ashlyn is the 21 year old daughter of Dan and Gwen Johnston.  She recently graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a 4.0 in Audiology.  While in college, Ashlyn was on the President’s List, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Golden Key International Honor Society, and Vice-President of the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association.

In her spare time, Ashlyn has helped at the Dubard School for Language Disorders.  She was part of the Baptist Student Union, a Super Summer Leadership Counselor and coached Upward Cheer and Basketball.

 

Ashlyn plans to receive her Doctor of Audiology degree and work with hearing impaired children.  She would love to practice in Magee after graduating.

 

Ashlyn will represent Magee in the State Miss Hospitality pageant at USM during the week of July 21-27th.
