Magee hosted a tournament Friday afternoon December 4, 2015. Magee, Crystal Springs and Sumrall boys and girls all competed in the tournament.

Magee girls started the day off with a win against Crystal Springs 4-0. Scoring for the Trojans were Ashleigh Russell with two goals, Brook May with an assist, and Carianne White with a goal. The girls were glad to have Jessica Sanford back in as goalie after being injured the day before the season started. The lady Trojans played and communicated well with each other.

The boys did not fare as well on the pitch against Crystal Springs falling short 3-1. Jacob Bynum for the Trojans scored the only goal for the boys.

The next teams of the day to play were Crystal Springs and Sumrall. The Trojans would have a two hour rest between games.

The last set of games for the evening the girls would play first against Sumrall. The girls did not come out as well in this game compared to the first falling 2-0. The team is playing hard and making progress as the season continues.

The boys would play Sumrall to close out the night. The boys would tie 2-2. Magee would never give up coming from behind to tie the game.

The teams have two more weeks of play before the Christmas holidays. Take time and come out to watch these athletes as they play.
