On Friday October 17, 2025, the Magee Police Department reported the following arrests:
  • Desmond Kantrell Williams – Domestic Aggravated Assault
  • Lawrence Berry McNair III – Warrant
  • Moisaiah Andre Deshaun Chambers – Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) with Firearm Enhancement
  • Zachary Lawrence Graves – Disorderly Conduct, Failure to Comply
On the department’s Facebook page, Chief Denis Borges also shared a video with the following message:

“As requested by the young man arrested for failure to comply, I am posting this video for educational purposes.

When you’re involved in a road rage incident, whether you started it or not it doesn’t matter. Let us handle it. Once you cross the line, you become just as guilty. If someone runs you off the road, use caution and call us. Don’t give chase or try to confront the driver yourself. In today’s world, some people won’t hesitate to use a firearm in these types of situations.
Also, never come to a police department and try to fight someone in front of an officer. That will surely get you arrested. Being angry is one thing, but letting that anger push you to the point of putting your hands on an officer will definitely land you in jail.
This young man was lucky he wasn’t charged with assaulting an officer. The officer in the video showed great restraint and tried to de-escalate the situation. In the end, both parties decided not to sign charges on each other.
I want to make something clear, we don’t pick and choose sides. If you give us time, we can investigate and go from there. But one thing’s for sure: we hold everyone accountable and will ALWAYS bring receipts.”
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
