On November 19, 2016 at approximately 2211 hours, Elizabeth Norwood who resides at 647 Raleigh Drive #32 reported that she had been robbed at gun point at her residence. Norwood reported that she heard a knock at the front door and opened the front door. The unknown gunman pointed his weapon at her head, forcing her back into the apartment, demanded money. The gunman stole approximately $700 dollars in US Currency. The gunman was wearing a grey jacket with red stripes, with a hood, and blue jeans.
On November 22, 2016, at approximately 0350 hours, Bobby Jones who resides at 6th Avenue SE reported that he had been robbed by unknown black male. Jones reported that he had just let his new friend Jamal Johnson into the residence at approximately 0350 hours. Jones said he heard another knock at the door. Jones opened the door to find an unknown black male wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a gun, demanding his wallet and keys. Jones said they got into his vehicle the unknown black male with a gun and Jamal Johnson with a gun, but the vehicle would not start. Johnson and the unknown black male took off running in unknown direction.
Lt. Womack showed a photographic lineup of Jamal Johnson to Jones and he identified Jones as being there during the robbery and participating in the robbery.

Lt. Womack issued an arrest warrant on Jamal Johnson for Armed robbery. Johnson was entered on NCIC as a wanted fugitive.
On November 22, 2016 John Langston reported to the Magee Police Department that his 2005 Chevrolet van maroon Mississippi Tag #SPT 869 was reported stolen. Later, Ben White came to the Magee Police Department reported to Lt. Womack that he was working on John Langston’s van when Jamal Johnson and another unknown black male stole the van from him at Wal-Mart. White realized that the unknown black male was from the Meridian area and that he had robbed the lady from Sase Apartments Saturday night.
Jamal is currently wanted by the Mississippi Department of Correction for Probation Violation.
The vehicle is entered as a stolen 2005 Chevrolet Van SPT869 and the occupants of this vehicle are armed and considered extremely dangerous.
