The Magee High Honors Banquet was held on Monday, May 18, 2015, at 6:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church. The banquet was held to recognize the seniors of Magee High School that achieved high honors this school year. The students recognized were: Asia Bowman, Cade Cockrell, Lauren Cockrell, Rictoria Funches, Brewunta Johnson, Josiah Lee, Justae’ Lockett, Colby Ramsey, McKayla Rankin, Tori Sullivan, Elizabeth Turcotte, Whitney Walker, Mary Warren, and Tyler Windham.
The banquet began with a welcome from Dr. Woodall, followed by a prayer from Mrs. Heather Blackwell. The banquet was catered by Sassi Southern Catering, owned by Melinda Hart. Dr. Woodall then recognized the guest speaker, Dr. Daniel Watkins. The seniors were then recognized by their senior sponsors, and the banquet ended with a special thanks from Mrs. Wanda Glisson and a benediction from Mr. Brian Barnard.
